Im 38 years old I am getting a hysterectomy for fibroids, adhesions, and ovarian cyst on my right ovary. My doctor wants to leave my left ovary so I will have my own hormones but I have ovarian cancer from my moms side, I have a history of a tumor of the placental tissue that got me three months chemo when I was 21. I have 7 pregnancies and should have 9 children but God let me have 4. I want the doctor to take both ovaries he said it is my choice the only thing I am worried about is if it will change my sex life with my husband? am I doing the right thing because I know there is no way to keep a check on the remaining ovary?
