I have just had a cone biopsy and there is a possibility I will need a radical hyterectomy for cancer of the cervix. I would appreciate any advise on the radical proceedure from people who have gone through it. What has been your experience. I am hearing some scary stories about complications, etc. What do I need to know?

How long is it acceptable to wait to have a radical hysterectomy for stage Ib2 cervical cancer? Is there any way to determine this? I would like to have a child first.
